This is NOT a mandatory course. This course is appropriate for anaesthetic technicians, PACU, ICU and HDU Registered nurses with a current IV competency.
This course discusses the use of intravenous lignocaine in the perioperative period as a pain modality.
MercyAscot requires IV lignocaine to be delivered in a safe and effective manner with ongoing patient assessment and appropriate monitoring.
2 hours of continuing education will be credited to your Trendcare when you complete all course activities and achieve an overall grade of 100% to print your certificate.
