Clinical staff can and do regularly come into contact with medical gasses at work. It is a Health and Safety requirement that all Clinical staff, and staff who come into contact with our Medical Gasses must complete this course.
This course is based on information readily available online from our medical gasses provider (BOC) and provides the learner with the base level of knowledge required for us to continue receiving these gasses.
There are three videos to watch, followed by a quiz. Once the quiz is complete to a satisfactory level the learner can download their quiz results.
The topics are:
- Module 1: The Oxygen Balance
- Module 2: Hazards of gasses
- Module 3: Identifying Medical gasses.
This course should take 30 mins to complete and must be completed every 2 years.
